Dr. Sherali Gowani is a board-certified cardiologist who has proudly served the Central Florida community since 1991. With more than three decades of experience, he is recognized for his expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of complex cardiovascular and peripheral vascular disease, as well as his unwavering commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
Dr. Gowani completed his fellowship in Cardiology at the Deborah Heart & Lung Center, affiliated with the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ). He further advanced his training with subspecialty fellowship training in Invasive Cardiology and Peripheral Vascular Disease at the Oklahoma City Angioplasty Foundation, where he developed extensive expertise in coronary and peripheral vascular interventions.
As an interventional cardiologist, Dr. Gowani specializes in minimally invasive, catheter-based procedures, including coronary angioplasty and stenting, peripheral arterial interventions, and advanced endovascular therapies. He also has extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of venous disease, offering comprehensive evaluation and treatment for chronic venous insufficiency and related vascular conditions.
Dr. Gowani provides complete cardiovascular evaluation and management using the latest diagnostic technologies, including echocardiography, vascular ultrasound, nuclear stress testing, exercise stress testing, ambulatory cardiac monitoring, and tilt table testing. His comprehensive approach allows for early detection of cardiovascular disease and the development of personalized treatment plans focused on achieving the best possible long-term outcomes.
